Getaway Moments!!!

Awesome Allepey@ Vasundhara Sarovar Premiere:

Nestled amongst the serene and glistening backwaters of Kerala, is Vasundhara Sarovar Premiere,a true repository of narure’s best treasures. Set up in a traditional way from the grand welcome to awesome hospitality from the moment one steps in to saying goodbye with an urge to come back again. We were upgraded to a deluxe room that had a grand balcony with two traditional type relaxed chairs to enjoy the morning sun whilst sipping a cup of coffee.
Both brekafst and dinner had a good variety of traditional and western both and lot of leisure options available especially if you are travelling with kids like fishing, pedal boating, feeding fish, hamoc, boat cruise in the backwaters during sunset before which one can go for high tea.
The staffs are extremely hospitable and kind always wearing a smile on their face especially, Mr.Shaji, Ms. Gopika at the reception and Ms. Adane and Sreejith at the restaurant.
There is a butterfly garden where one can spot lots of butterflies, a traditional Keralaite house and a grand swimming pool where traditional and western performances were taking place diring our stay.
If there is a place to satiate your wanderlust, it is here!

The Park, Vizag: Another fantastic coastal vacation in one of the oldest port cities of the country, Vishakhapatnam commonly known as Vizag left us spell bound not just because of its scenic beauty but due to the anomalous service extended by the two freshers Ms. Aakansha Arya and Mr. Soumak at The Park hotel.

We were there during our wedding anniversary and there wouldn’t have been a better option that The Park, Vizag which was surrounded by lush greenery, had access to the beach and a lighthouse nearby too.

There are four restaurants catering to different cuisines but we spend most of our time at the Vista where options are good but wish there were more variety in the buffet breakfast and less salt and spice in the food as the restaurant guys were not keen on customising the food as per our request.

Some rooms are still under renovation. The one we were given at the first instance needed serious upgradation but upon request they were kind enough to offer us a newly renovated one.

The housekeeping staffs were extremely courteous, checking upon our needs every now and then and did a wonderful job with the room decoration on the day of our wedding anniversary. All thanks to Aakansha and Soumak without whom the day wouldn’t have been so special!!!

Some Amazing Places!!!

Radisson, Salem: Steel city Salem may not be the ideal destination for many but to us it is like a second home whenever we are travelling long distances. This time we were on our way back from Kochi and decided to halt at Radisson, Salem to visit Yercaud and enjoy the New Year, especially because of Chef Swapan Baidya whom we met last year during another trip and is more like a family member to us now. Awesome hospitality by the Chef who always goes out of his way to make our stay ever memorable and hence always longing to go back. Ms.Suchitha and Priyan from the reception were extremely hospitable and kind too. The buffet spread always has a variety and a lot of options to choose from though live counters could be made more interesting. Rooms and bathrooms are well maintained but we missed a hand shower and bathrobes by the pool side. Overall a very pleasant stay and look forward to seeing them again️.

Novotel, Chennai OMR: No wonder that holidays bring along holiday memories and this is one such holiday where the nostalgia for good times long gone doesn’t seem to get over.

All credit goes to the ever smiling and hospitable staffs( Amu, Neetu, Roopal, Aadhar, Naidu) at the Novotel, OMR, Chennai, the land of magnificient temples and splendid beaches, where we spent out last vacation during the winter break in Dec,2017.

One of those cherished experiences that was made special but one and all at this newly opened hotel starting from a sweet personalised welcome handmade card for our DD who was there post her birthday followed by a wonderful cake cutting ceremony and not to forget the wonderful decorations in the room.

Each and every day was a pleasant surprise️

All thanks to the wonderful staff headed by Mr. Prosenjit Biswas who is doing a stupendous job.

Each day held a delightful surprise starting from the morning breakfast which was a lavish spread with special and customised food for us with the best buffet ever on the 31st night.

But just as all good things come to an end, it was time for us to bid goodbye as we set forward to explore the world heritage sites and golden sand beaches in Mahabalipuram.

Since it is a new hotel, they are still working on their swimming pool and a few other things but their warmth and superb hospitality would not make one complain about it.

Rooms are cozy with all the necessary options especially focussed on a business traveller.

Would definitely like to recommend it to anyone who pays more value to service.

We would wish to go back again and would like to thank everyone at the Novotel, OMR , Chennai for making our stay ever memorable!
